Meet the Founder

Promised the label was founded in July of 2022 by Hannah, a Western Sydney Mum of two, Leo & Zara. She has been married to Sam since 2018 & they live on Dharug land.

Hannah has always been passionate about women, sewing & the fashion industry. She had a dream since high school to own a brand where she could sew what she sold. Her Nan was a tailor and her Mum a bridalwear seamstress so naturally, sewing was something she knew how to do from a very young age, creating clothes for her dolls.

When her son was born in 2021 she encountered difficulties breastfeeding, on top of finding it uncomfortable & awkward to feed around others in public or at parties. Devastated but prioritising her mental health, she decided to quit breastfeeding.

Hannah realised a gap in the market for aesthetic & practical breastfeeding covers. Her hope is that this simple cover can make a big difference in everyday women’s lives. Where women can feel present, comfortable & relaxed while breastfeeding their little one.

Hannah’s desire for women, particularly mothers, is for them to know they are loved, supported, extraordinary & not alone.
